Our very own Rude Gal. Took all our excavation photos for nothing. Including my Che Guevara blue hard hat photo which I send everywhere. Love it. Thank you Karen. And will be with us till the end of the project including Whitworth exhibition and 'musical. Photo taken in the gambling room by Ivan Smith…
The most badass florist that ever lived. My oldest friend. She set our standard that first night we went down the Reno. It has totally meant a lot that she is so on board with the project. I'm we'll pleased she's taking part in the Whitworth. And hello to her first grandchild Reno descendant Theodore…
On my tombstone it should read archaeologist Sarah Cattell changed Linda Brogan's life. With her boss Adam Thompson, we spent weeks planning, budgeting, designing the Reno excavation. Sarah has this extra quality: every time Manchester City Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund, or Art's Council said no…
Our man needs no introduction. Photo by our own Rude Gal. Probably the only hard work he ever did. Laughing. But the 3 week site would definitely not have been the same without him. Pure respect.
Bryan will house our artefacts in Manchester Museum. He is their curator of archaeology. The first official person I approached to excavate the Reno.
Pat's evaluation is more like the original memoirs. She had a brain haemorrhage on Mother’s Day. The Reno memoirs and the excavation helped her piece her memory back together. She is one of our project's super fans.
On the 9th of October 2017 we began to excavate the Reno. Photo-slide I used on the 4th of October 2018 to tell our story to 200 representatives of major international museums and art galleries in the Museum of London. I burned the stage down.
From Monday 8th of October there will be one excavation evaluation ever weekday on the run up to our first week in our first phase in our Whitworth Residency the 25th of October. Can't wait. Photo Curtesy Karen Rangeley.
