Barrington: 'The first youth clubs I used to go to, Proctors, Berlin, Longsight Library, Abraham Moss, they were mixed, all mixed, there wasn't this black and white, you know, you were mixed. You knew you were black! You knew you were white! But . . .
Barrington begins with the Reno in the middle 80s. But that's not his passion. His passion is the DJs his era chased across Manchester and the North. Mesmersising. As I had totally forgot there was such a thriving music led community in the late 1980s. I was busy being a mum.
