Imagine what it was really like in the 1950s when our white mams met our black dads, and we were born, cos it persisted right into the 70s. Here's proof.
Myra: 'When I got pregnant in the 70s, 73, I was spat on, called a nigger's moll, called all the names underneath the sun.'
Carmen: 'My aunty that I'd never ever met in my life came and she walked in my living room and she went, 'oh my God they're black - that's my kids.'
Brian: ' . . . he's not your brother – cos he was darker than me.'
Fucking hell. Imagine what it really felt like to be us.
