Brogan's Dig [For Linda]

A poem to commemorate our excavation by the Reno's Les Williams.

Deep Fires rage;

They leave a spoor:

[Time's melting ice

is poorly lit].

To slowly draw

The sticky dew

And Breakfast off

The night before.

We need to see

the compound view

[it makes a fist

of memories].

So butterflies

Can rehydrate

Prevent an epoch

Falling thro'.

We'll be caught in the net of our memoirs and excavation beginning Monday.
